The primary inspiration for my design work has been the outdoors, nature and sports. Throughout my upbringing, I was surrounded by lakes, mountains, ski fields and forests in Queenstown, New Zealand where I was heavily immersed in outdoor activities such as skiing, swimming, walking, boating and camping. This shaped the person I am today, my design processes and design style. My branding incorporates subtle hints of the environment to showcase the importance and influence it has on my work.
My first name is used to give the business a personal feel as I aim to highlight the unique and personalised experience my employers/clients get, working directly with me throughout the whole process. The logo demonstrates a minimalistic and spacious layout, aligning with my style of work. A’s in the typography signify peaks, which resemble the mountains in my hometown, Queenstown. Although this meaning may not be particularly obvious to others, it is significant to me.
